We do many fundraising and awareness events throughout the year. Also, we visit classrooms, nursing homes and offer shelter tours.
-Pets Pals was designed for children that are to young to volunteer. It is for ages 8 – 14 years and is a “Hands on Humane Pet Education Class” where kids learn about shelter/home animal health care, dog grooming techniques, dog training and agility and animal safety along with snack time.
-Bellwether Harbor will have Microchip Clinic from 11:00 – 3:00 pm. Bellwether holds microchip clinics every second Saturday of the month. The microchip we offer is 24 PetWatch and its $25 and also includes the registration. The majority of the proceeds help support shelter operations. Tell your family and friends with pets to go to Bellwether Harbor and have them micro chipped!
